An absolutely stunning and iconic vintage French stamped Longchamp oyster service in a very rare white finish. The large server is able to accomodate 12 oysters and the individual smaller plates hold 6 with a central section for a lemon to be placed all in the iconic basket and rope design. All of these pieces are stamped and in wonderful condition. Dating from the mid 1900's with only very slight signs of use as shown. This is a truly rare and complete set in this condition.
The Longchamp company has a history stretching back to the 1800s and became a world renowned producer of porcelain and ceramics. These are available as: a set of 12 plates with the server.
